I did it, a chart of taste in anime/manga mapped around Evangelion, shooting in all directions. Spent a long time working on this before deciding it's good enough, not every series can be included or placed with exact precision of where they fit. Think of it like a clock.

This is ofc a bit biased based on what I like, hence no Darling in the Franxx or Eureka Seven around Gridman/FLCL, LOTGH around Code Geass or Lain around Madoka.

The base idea is for each thing around Eva to be things influenced by/most similar to it, and as they get further away they get more specific while keeping similarity to the previous thing they connect to, so it goes "Eva is like AoT, which is like TG/FMA, which is like HnK".

The layout goes kinda like this. The red lines are the trajectory the placement goes outwards from the middle, so things on the same line will be more directly connected, and what's between the lines connect to those. The blue is for how close (literally) they are to Eva.
