The Black Panther Party was formed in Oakland in 1966 by Huey P. Newtown and Bobby Seale.

Bobby Seale was involved in the torture and murder of Alex Rackley, a 19-year-old BPP (Black Panther Party) member that was suspected of being an informant.
They tortured him in New Haven for days, took into the woods and shot him on May 20, 1969.

While Huey was in exile in Cuba Huey was visited by celebrities like Jack Nicholson and the Black Panther leader filling in for Huey, Elaine Brown.
