My professor puts his name as first author always although his contribution is less in the paper. While sending the paper to him, our lab students put their names first but he silently changes the name while submitting..How to deal with such situation? #AcademicChatter #phdchat
UPDATE: I just had a discussion on this issue with professor. According to him, if student is writing paper in MS then professor will be first author. (Whatttt?) Also, according to professor, authorship position does not matter. (Also whatttt?)
I am discussing this thing first time in lab history. No one dared to talk this.... Wish me luck 🙏🙏
UPDATE 2: Professor agrees that it is not right to put his name first as his contribution is not much. Will he put his name as first or not, only next paper will tell.
