Gonna watch It's Okay to Not Be Okay - a thread (starting from EP3)
Yes, I am watching this while I am also watching Crash Landing on You. (I'm watching this one with my sister, dats why)
The front desk of OK hospital (? What's it's called...) gives me Hotel Del Luna Vibes.
The room's turquoise teal / pink color palette contrasts so nicely against Ko MoonYoung's deep purple dress.
But really, the hospital also has West Anderson vibes. In general, I like the colors!
I personally do not like Joori. I think it's because she comes off passive.
OMG SHE'S SCREECHING BACK AT THE DEER! AMAZING
My sister: Is this the Hotel Del Luna place?
These shots at the cursed castle are so dark. The minimal light is amazing. 😳
I don't like her!!!! D:< (the njr)
Hmm. I can see how the mixture of IOTNBO's fantasy storyline and psychic storyline working very well together, but I can ALSO see how it'll turn out very untastefully.
WHAT IS GOING ON?!
I'm impressed with the maniac disorder imagery sequence. (I feel like I'm mostly commenting on the cinematography of the drama than the storyline so far - yikes)
That was a bizarre literature lesson. So bizarre.
I'm so confused, what's going on?
OMG ITS HER DAD. OMG.
Is this psychiatric ward not aware of the past between Moonyoung and her father? Cause I totally understand why she'd never want to see him.
Aw... Sangtae's prescription is to paint a mural for the hospital. ☺️ Art Therapy! I really appreciate that.
HAHAHA omg. This drama is so chaotic - very fitting.
I'm waiting for how Moonyoung's butterflies are going to connect with Sangtae's butterflies.
Omg this is wild. What is happening?!
That was a 180... I was not prepared for this. Ah, but you really experience the deep lows that's underneath the highs this kid is experiencing.
I like how Kangtae allows his patients to express themselves instead of fixing them. There's a lot of gentleness.
That's it for EP3 of It's Okay to Not Be Okay.

I felt this episode did not flow as nicely as the previous 2. However, my sister pointed out that maybe this episode is focusing on the patient with maniac disorder, so the scenes were edited to be more abrupt.
Ep 4 of It's Okay to Not Be Okay, let's go!
What's the nurse manager's name?
I like how MoonYoung doesn't have fears when it comes to other people's treats.
This mom, what the hell. Mental Health awareness is very important.

Um... but I didn't expect for him to see his mom like that.
Oh man. Kangtae is living his life around his mom's wish for him...
Parenting and Child Development is so important.
So. It's not about Sangtae's fear of butterflies, but Kangtae's.
SeungJae's run is so cuteeeee!
OMG SeungJae just drank from that coffee! SHE'S SO CUTE. HER DANCE!!!
Okay, my sister says that she thinks SangIn likes MoonYoung... what?
Okay, jk she saw a spoiler. 😑
Ms. Ko is cute.
I like Mr. Hospital President.
WHOA. HE JUST GRABBED THE WHEEL!
They bicker like they've known each other for a long time.
OMG She's AMAZING I LOVE KO MOONYOUNG!
I aspire to have the spirit she has. "I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU KANGTAE!" She's not even hurt by the rejection. Just angry.
o - nevermind. She is sad. 🥺
Are there examples of good parenting in this drama? I need some good examples.
Wait...
Old publishing company CEO and JooRi?
😑 😑 😑
Jaesoo - da pizza owner - reminds me of Nie Huaisang from The Untamed.

Why?
EW Politicians. Major EW. Ultimate

EW. EW. EW. EW.

Sleazy.
He loves her. It's EP4 and he loves her. JK he loved her since EP1.
Once again, politicians are EW.
"Who's going to take care of the idiot when he's released?" YOU OF COURSE. YOU'RE HIS FATHER. THAT'S THE PARENT'S RESPONSIBILITY.
"Do children have to be useful for their parents?"

!!!
So many 🥺 🥺 🥺 moments. May SangTae forever have joy.
I LOVE MR. HOSPITAL PRESIDENT. HAVE I SAID BEFORE? And Park HaengJa.
h e y e l l e d a t s a n g t a e 🥺
I don't want MoonYoung to encounter her dad again. How did the hospital allow her to leave on her own like that?
The camera work. The music, everything is so fitting. I love how there's a orange haze when Ko MoonYoung walks along the road.
EP4 of It's Okay to Not Be Okay gives the viewer a lot of room to breathe and absorb the emotions of the characters.
That was so cathartic!
Psycho But It's Okay EP4 ended leaving me feeling raw, vulnerable, but also at peace. I'm not sure how I feel about continuing this thread. The show touches points that carry a lot of weight and I don't want to make careless comments. I think I need to rethink about my approach.
I like the title Psycho But It's Okay a bit more than It's Okay to Not be Okay.
