many lebanese made even less than this before, and now with inflation and a ravaged economy, some are subsisting on $5 dollars or even less than $1 a day. this is poverty.
if the people of lebanon cannot receive their most basic necessity of food, they cannot promote education, human rights or boosting their economy. this is a humanitarian crisis.
