i always found the way the tutorial music from the original Splatoon built upon itself as you learned more stuff super clever and has always stuck with me. i've got a lot of nostalgia for this game and the Wii U era in general

been getting way into Apex lately, love Bloodhound so much

Jedi Fallen Order is criminally overlooked, you get crazy awesome stuff like this in it

Decisive Battle II with Olberic's intro is by far the most epic thing abt the octopath ost

Day 11: puzzle game music
this is PEAK genesis music i fuckin love this

Day 12: music that makes you sad
i would put the galaxy 1 storybook music here but i'm saving that game for later. the galaxy games were such a big part of my childhood that it's always bittersweet listening to both of these OSTs again

Day 13: music that you like from a game you don't like
Fates has not aged well for me and is associated with a lot of bad memories but GOD DAMN this game has some great battle music

youtube's been super strict with the FFVIIR ost so if this is taken down, it's the Arsenal battle version of Fight On

another godly track from the master himself Tim Follin. still can't believe the SNES is capable of this

no matter how many times i replay Mania i'm always excited to get to Flying Battery Act 2 just for this music

Day 18: music in a game released the year you were born (2000)
i only played the 3DS remake but this game is absolutely incredible. flawed, but has an absolutely potent atmosphere

i really dig this remix of Rude Buster from Deltarune

couldn't decide whether to pick a track from 64 or 8 so i said why not both?

not nearly enough people are talking abt the spider-man ps4 soundtrack

this has lived in my brain rent free for the past 15 years

basically every variation of the ultimate theme gets me pumped but THIS is the best one

i have not played P4 yet but i have watched the anime so like. this counts.

the game that caused me to throw my ds lite on the ground in rage and snap the top screen half off as a kid believe it or not
