Life update:
I travelled (reluctantly) from Bengaluru to Mumbai today.

So here goes a thread with my observations, rants and tips for safe travel in times of #CovidTravel
Web checkin is must for all flights. But if u r like me who doesn't want to pay extra for a seat (without knowing my neighbor) then do a webcheck in at T-12 hrs as then u will be allotted a random seat and can proceed to get boarding pass. Without a seat u don't get boarding pass
Aarogya setu app is a must. First they check boarding pass and ur health status on the app. Temperature checks are there as well.
Its PREFERRED that u only have a single checkin bag of under 20kg. I was travelling by Indigo and I was over by 5 kgs and 2 bags. Usually I would shuffle things b/w checkin bags and laptop bag but today I was reluctant to open anything and paid 2k extra (Rs. 400 per kg).
Its a good idea to stick a paper on your checkin baggages with details like PNR, Name and contact info.
Wear full sleave clothes. Lots of people were wearing entire PPE kits and had face shields. I only had gloves and a KN95 Mask. But there were people who would not even use masks and were removing masks when video calling their family.

Not everyone is careful, don't be that guy
My flight was fully booked, which was terrifying. The middle seat passengers were getting suits similar to PPE kits. Everyone gt a kit with 3 hand sanitizers, a mask and a face shield. Don't see any point in them giving mask as its required when entering the airport.
Carry your own water. Don't drink it unless absolutely required. I didn't mostly coz I'd have to remove the face shield and the mask and open the bottle with my (infected?) gloves.
Don't wear those torn out jeans. There was a really stylish girl and I liked her even though I couldn't see her face. She had those long hair that went over her face. Usually I admire the beauty, but today she should have gt those hair strapped in and avoided those jeans.
There were 2 babies less than a year old on my flight. I was really concerned but no parents are that stupid to carry such tiny babies unless absolutely required. Not gonna judge here, everyone is fighting their own battles. Not just babies, there were old couples as well.
I had aisle seat, but the guy next to me started getting watery nose 40 min after take off. I couldn't do anything about it except lean more towards the aisle and away from him.

Sometimes u can be just unlucky, even if u r too careful.

I hope its not the virus, else I m done.
People still stand up and form a queue immediately after landing even before the flight doors are opened.

I usually don't get up till the end, but I too rushed today coz I was probably sitting next to someone who might be infected. I just wanted to get off as soon as I can.
Take a cab. Don't try auto. I came in auto, turns out they are not running on meters in Mumbai and are charging 3x and their reason for this is lockdown. But then nothing is preventing passengers from using the well sanitized cab that Ola/Uber provide at same price.
Be a responsible citizen and don't go out for atleast 14 days for the safety of your family and fellow citizens. The stamp they put on back of your hand will not stay for a long time. Mine got faded by the time I reached home as I was drenched in the rain. But be the good guy.
Hopefully nothing bad should happen, but if its my time already, then in hindsight this will be stupidest decision I ever made to leave my safe haven in Bangalore.

In my defence,
"Sometimes all the choices are bad ones, but u still have to choose"
Most of the times, when things go bad, you can point finger at a moment which could have changed the outcome.

For me it was arguing and rejecting the auto driver when he refused to go by meter and not when i saw and choose to ignore that his temperature measured 95.9°C
Talking to him seems to be a mistake.
I wanna keep adding to this thread my thoughts as I go through this existential crisis. Its gonna be about the things I'd miss or never gt to experience but wish I had, if these were my last days countdown.
