Scarf update. June was a month of intense illness as my body struggled to maintain its temperature and autonomic control. As the weather heated up and we talked of the earth's changing climate, my body felt like its mirror. A painful and life-changing empathy: we're not separate.

(My nearly-twelve-year-old has shot up nearly two and half inches since January but still needs to get MUCH TALLER by the end of the year so we can fit the whole scarf in a photograph. Send pasta.)
