Okay so yesterday i was to tired but ! Here are my thoughts on @yoontify & #39;s latest update and her "spoiled actor" au in general !
Kyra, this one& #39;s for u.

1) characters: JIMIN.

Let us all start sith the elephant in the room. Our littol jimbo.
He is so well written Kyra ! And imma tell you why:
He is very obvious. People would maybe complain about the fact he is your typical cliché Diva but it fits! It works !

Because he is supperficial he does it on purpose he just wants attention but all that serves is that it not only hurts other people and pushes them away but it hurts him in the process.
Jimin is the typical example of "ive given up on getting positive attention so any will do".

Yet he still sincerely wants to be genuinely loved. He& #39;s just been decieved, maybe made selfish decisions, we still don& #39;t know why he left his parents and home, but im pretty sure there was a good reason, especially since it seems to still affect him greatly (drunk episode)

Jimin remains a sensitive person and is so freacking sweet when he wants to, because he CARES despite his facade. He cares about other people and wouldn& #39;t let useless injustice happen, he cares about what other thinks of him-

His superficial side works because that& #39;s all it is: superficial, Jimin just doesnt know any better and that& #39;s where it ends, beneath it he is still a good person.

YOONGI:
yoobnie, the yoongoo, yoobi, yoogni,yoongs,yoonfi..... my child.
I want to know what is in your mind but here is a very first guess:

Yoongi has had MANY struggles. I think he can see himself in Jimin and relate to his strive for recognition and hard work. Because jimin IS hard working. But we also know Yoongi has always been able to stay grounded and humbled, that he still has his mother& #39;s love and support.

He also probably has an idea that Jimin doesn& #39;t have those things. Which is why he gives him a genuine chance and doesnt hold it against him to much when Jimin has outbursts. He knows Jimin is a good person within.

But Yoongi is also a strict and strong minded person who sometimes lacks the patience to deal with Jimin (contrary to Jin for example) which can be a good and a bad thing, because Jimin needs someone to handle him, but also can cause dissagreements and outbursts.

But Yoongi isnt biased. He is, like i said, still humble, to him all of his crew is of the same importance, and his will to give Jimin a genuine chance as an actor and a person are very touching.

LATEST UPDATE:
I saw someone say Yoongi was right to leave and Jimin was really rude and selfish. And i Agree with the sentiment. BUT hear me out, i think that solely focuses on the last bits of the update while ut should be seen as a whole. So! Lets recap:

After being forced together quite a few times, at his apartment, the airport, and now the plane and hotel, Jimin , who now hopes he can consider Yoongi as his first real "friend" offers to help him in his work, despite Yoongi being reluctant.

I think its important to notice that in his own way all Jimin wants to and attempts to do is reach out. And Yoongi stays weary, because Jimin HOPES. And we dont know yet about Yoongi, there is a clear appreciation of Jimin but thats all we can affirm so far.

So Jimin reaches out and tries, and it can seem overwhelming to Yoongi, the labyrinth, the ice cream, offering to tag along, Jimin really tried, and disnt see it as a chore.

But old habits die hard, and suddenly Jimin was overwhelmed with his fatigue, because Yoongi just seems unstoppeable, and that is something i can relate to. I visited Paris with my cousin and my feet felt so sore and i kept feeling exhausted but he could not be stopped.

The way Jimin manifests his desire for a break, the way he deals with it isn& #39;t the RIGHT one but probably the only one he KNOWS. And Yoongi doesn& #39;t tolerate that behaviour because he associates it with selfishnes and him being full of himself, and while that is true+

In some aspect i also see Jimin as a child in some aspect ? Who is just tired and having a tantrum. Because i think Jimin has some wounds he needs to work on.
I think it& #39;s good Yoongi TRIED to leave. Because they both needed to blow off the steam and realise they both were wrong

Yoongi cannot expect Jimin to change his ways all of a sudden especially since Jimin already tries a lot, he cannot simply spend a whole day with this person, see that there is much more beneath that what he thought, and then back out and then reduce him to that mask again+

Thats hurtful. Its painful. And though Jimin needs to learn his behavior is unhealthy, he doesn& #39;t deserve to be told that& #39;s all he is.

And Jimin needed to realise he cannot keep up treating everyone like they are somehow lesser than him, like he is above them. Because thats how he protected himself but also how he distanced himself. And he cannot keep that up.

In the end bith apologised and seemed to deeply regret their words and the fact they both realised and acknowledged that is a great base for THEIR story to truly start.

WRITING :

Kyra..... kyra...... your writing.
Okay so, ive always found your prose light and easy to read, kind of like a stream. It& #39;s clear as to where it starts and where it goes, often you know its never fully ended, and it can become more wild, rapid, unpredictable+

But nevertheless it has the lightness, assurance and steadyness of a stream.
Except in those few times, where you decide to transform that stream into a strong gust of wind, and it twirls and spins and speeds off in the air in a cascade of words and rythm that you master +

Beautifully.
And then you sink back into your stream. And a great example of that is the bridge scene.

So it starts as a stream, they arrive and walk around the bridge.
Then, it grows into rumbling rapids as Jimin starts to go back to ond habbits, we know something is afoot.
Rapids, when they explode into an argument, and then it flies off when Jimin hurtfully speaks:

"I thought we were friends."
And that& #39;s when ut turns into this swirling breeze, because it& #39;s utter chaos, it& #39;s overwhelming, no steadiness left it can really go any way. It keeps spinning and growing in intensity till Yoongi leaves.

And then it feels like Jimin is stuck in his own little storm, gusts of wind around him and keeping his thoughts in a mess flowing around without holding back.
The cab arrives and it keeps swirming around him and then-
"Hey"

And it suddenly drops.
Back to the stream.

That rythm is something I personally find in your writing. And idk how well i& #39;ve described it but that& #39;s how i feel it.

This thread is getting long holy frigg.

CONCLUSIONS : this so far is absolutely amazing.
I& #39;m excited to hear more of Yoongi& #39;s perspective, to see how they evolve. As for now it feels like they are ascesing each other, circling each other and waiting. Gradually coming closer maybe.

Ive always loved your stories and this one is just going into my faves list once more. Thanks for the great work Kyra ! Hope this thread sparked some joy, sorty its so long lmao.
