It has come to my attention many of you do not know #conversiontherapy is still legal in the UK. This is a problem. You make up a vast majority of our nation. If you don't know, and don't speak up, change will be slow

#conversiontherapy is the act of trying to change ones sexual or gender identity using psychological or spiritual interventions, in extreme cases, surgery and ‘corrective’ rape - this bit is illegal thankfully!!. 2/5

The @UN and @IRCT has described conversion therapy as 'torture'. All major medical and psychological organisations have named it pseudoscience and unethical.

Pseudoscience - "a collection of beliefs or practices mistakenly regarded as being based on scientific method."

Conversion therapy does not work. It is dangerous. It is unethical.
