I had time this afternoon so I watched all individual fancams of the Into the I-LAND performance, and rated the applicants using a very rough pointing system.

Vocals - 4 pts.
Dance - 3 pts.
Stage Presence - 2 pts.
Facial Expressions - 1 pt.
TOTAL - 10 pts.

Again, this is just a rough scoring system I made for fun. I tried grading them as objectively as I can, given some limitations:

These are moving fancams and so it was hard to judge choreography properly. Plus, the original dance was not shown in the episode, thus making it hard to judge if they were able to replicate or stick close to it.

As for vocals, the distribution of lines wasn’t equal, and so I had to judge based on how well they sang the parts they got (Jake, baby, I’m sorry your mike fell out ).

Without further ado, here are my top 7 (supposedly 6, but there was a tie for the last spot). In no particular order:

Stray observations:

- Daniel really surprised me. He was charming during the entrance test but I wasn’t really sold on him. But with this performance, he just showed how badly he wants this.

- Had Jake’s mic not fallen off and he was able to sing his part, his total score would’ve been higher. Like Daniel, he’s one of those that I wasn’t particularly eyeing from the start, but the way he was *into* this performance, I could see potential

- So far there are two or three applicants whose vocal colors I find kind of interesting. But collectively, they need to work on their singing.

- Jay’s dancing isn’t as crisp as some other applicants, like Niki or Jungwon, for example, but there’s just something about the way he moves...Idk how else to describe it other than he has grooves and that’s something hard to teach.

- Say what you want about Heeseung’s training methods and leadership style, but you can’t deny that mans was born to center. Can’t wait to see him improve even more.
