Even before the pandemic it took a certain cussedness and a high level of social responsibility to run a bar or restaurant. Rightly or wrongly the industry is opening up now/soon and, whilst there is an increased responsibility placed on us all now, I believe the
owners and managers that I know in Worcester are more than capable of handling this. I dunno, I’m just getting a little tired of all the naysayers predicting utter chaos I think. There will be problems but I know plenty of bars and restaurants run by smart cookies that will rise
to this challenge, organise themselves effectively and enjoy their relaunches.
I just really hope that the joy of seeing some familiar faces in their joints, the emotion of pulling the first pint after lockdown and the relief of some money coming in will be the overriding
