we still need more respondents to our isopods survey! we're particularly short of people from birmingham, tyneside and merseyside - if you've already done the survey, please do retweet and help us reach more people! http://icge.co.uk/twitter_surveys/isopods
we're also very short of answers in mid-wales, particularly in powys - can anyone help us out? http://icge.co.uk/twitter_surveys/isopods
the response so far has been fantastic, with over 4000 people reporting over 250 different names! we have never come across another variable with anywhere near this amount of diversity
however, that means we need much more data to get a clear idea of where each name is used!

believe it or not, we also know of almost 100 more traditional names that *haven't* turned up in our survey yet - we'd love to find out if these are still used anywhere, which is another reason we'd like to reach even more people

since posting this thread, we've already had two responses which include terms entirely new to us - keep them coming
we want to hear from you, whether you use a standard term or a completely unique one!
