Here it is, the Moon Under Water in Colindale, the pub I *believe* will serve the first pint in London for three and a half months, at 8am. Fairly sure there will be an earlier starter somewhere out there in England. If so, let me know about it.
Social distancing measures in place outside but at 7.45am the queue hasn't fully formed yet...
I have entered a pub, like a King processing to court. A pint and a fry-up are imminent.

Here it is...what I believe may be the first pint served in London since March.

This is Stephen Barrie, a semi-retired binman who had the first pint in London that wasn't ordered by me. I think. It's a Bud Light.
Right, I'm preparing to leave but I'd say about 30-40 punters have been in so far. Mood is relatively jovial, with the occasional reminder of the grimness of 8am drinking.

I'm sensing some trepidation among staff about the evening shift though.
