this thread was inspired by @avatardaenerys who did her own thread so check it out!! this is just my take on it

bran stark as aang
- they both start out young and sheltered
- they have powers connected to a higher being
- they’re both playful kids until they have to grow up in a short amount of time
- avatar state and warging are kinda similar

daenerys targaryen as princess yue
- they’re both tied to prophecies
- they put their people’s needs before their own
- they were both stuck in an unwanted engagement
- they’re both connected to animals (yue with the koi fish and daenerys with her dragons)

jon snow as prince zuko
- they’re both unknown princes (zuko when he’s traveling to ba sing se)
- they both always try to do the right thing
- they’re both a little obsessed with honor
- they both have a father figure that isn’t their real father

toph beifong as arya stark
- this one is a little obvious
- they’re both raised to be submissive ladies but don’t want that life
- they’re both badass warriors
- bonus points since arya goes blind in affc

sansa stark as katara
- they both suffered at a young age due to the loss of a parent and grew from that
- they act motherly towards others their age
- they both had to grow up quickly
- they’re both hated by men in the fandom for being young girls
- alayne + the painted lady

robb stark as sokka
- left to take care of their family at a young age
- they both want to prove themselves to their fathers
- very protective over their siblings
- they’re both good military commanders

margaery tyrell as ty lee
- they’re both feminine girls with more than what’s on the surface
- they’re both coded gay asf

cersei lannister as azula
- they both have the colored fire motif
- they both have a tendency to be a little crazy
- they have sad backstories that make you wanna sympathize with them
- they both use men to their advantage
- both insanely tactical politicians

littlefinger as long feng
- self explanatory
- they’re both annoying and dead

joffrey as jet
- jet is just joffrey if he was a communist. instead of k wording the poor he k words the rich

tommen baratheon as the earth king
- they’re both figurehead puppets
- ser pounce and bosco are the same animal to me
- both sheltered and lowkey annoying

rhaegar targaryen as firelord ozai
- terrible fathers
- terrible husbands
- started unnecessary wars that ruined their countries
- ugly and annoying

jaime lannister as general zhao
- they both had a feud with and tried to k word a child less than half their age
- they both have a strange obsession with something (jaime’s is cersei/his honor and zhao is the moon)
- their deaths are anticlimactic asf

brienne of tarth as suki
- both badass warrior women
- they deserved better
- they’re both very loyal
- looked down upon for being female warriors (suki at first by sokka)

ser davos as uncle iroh
- the voice of reason
- father figures to multiple other characters
- they both give really good advice

catelyn stark as kya
- they’d both give up anything for their children
- this one doesn’t have much of a basis but i had to include it
