NOT BTS related, this is for all who wants to read.

A thread of my carefully arranged thoughts on the R.A. No. 11479.

Take time to read the links below as it is very important with our current situation as of the moment.

I stumbled upon the second link first then the first link and before stating my opinion on the matter I read through both material multiple times as I also want to avoid any technicalities that will lead people to discern me as terrorist +

I am not starting a movement or any of sorts. I would just like to freely express myself as a citizen of the country who works hard and pays his tax dues in time and without fail. +
+
I don't mind whether you're pro or con to the government right now. I'm not stating I am either of the two. I grew up being taught at that Philippines is a democratic country and growing up I experienced that democracy being practiced by several people and movements +
+
And that made me fall in love with this country. It's just sad to see these kinds of movements and expression of oneself is now prohibited and will be deemed as 'terrorism'. +
+
I get that people are sometimes out of the line, that citizens take advantage of the freedom and democracy that we have but taking our voice away is too much. +

Before this bill was even signed and was on the 'burner' a lot of people expressed their concern and outright disagreement on this matter, but nobody seems to listen. We are not heard, isn't it government suppose to protect people and strip us+
+ of our own rights? Every people has the right to liberty, freedom, and many more without further discrimination. This bill clearly discriminates people and movements who would very much like to be stating their opinions+
+ Human Rights Article 11: Presumption of Innocence states that a person is considered innocent until proven guilty. Yet here we are with a bill that states that if a person is suspected of having 'inciting' terrorism can be imprisoned for 12 years+
+ Oh and let me leave this out here. Personally, I think this is too lenient. +
+ This one too. Read section 29 y'all. +
+ I educated myself and voiced my opinion. That's what this is, it's not me trying to recruit, incite, or plan terrorism. I am not a terrorist. I am a citizen of the country, who cares for the people around me, with clean records and paid dues on time.
