Just switched to Fox to watch the Rushmore event and it's predictably bonkers. Median attendee age looks about 62, no masks or social distancing. Also shouting USA in unison, which is not singing exactly, but probably not good aerosol-wise.

Giving the angry mobs attacking statues, "destroying our history and culture" speech. "One of their political weapons is cancel culture" lololol.

Says cancel culture is the very definition of totalitarianism, but kind of chokes on "totalitarianism" and it comes out as some other word because he can't pronounce it. Which seems ironic given how hellbent he is on implementing it.

Says federal agents arrested the "ringleader of the attack" on a statue of Andrew Jackson. Also says he's issuing something (an EO?) that would mandate a sentence of 10 years in prison for defacing a statue. Which he can't do, but whatever.

Now saying children learn to hate America in school and says he'll set history straight. Which would be more credible if there were any evidence he had learned any history in school. Or had a basic understanding of how government works.

Also he looks very shiny and less orange than brown. Maybe it's the lighting but it is ...disturbing.

Also - lighting hilariously makes all of the presidents on Mt Rushmore look vaguely horrified at what's happening.
