There’s 500 or more ppl currently surround the 1st precinct in #Aurora. Led by @Denver_PSL, they’ve declared they’re not leaving until all officers involved in Elijah McClains’s murder are fired. So far there’s hardly any sign of APD besides a pair of cops on the precinct roof.

We’re no longer within Denver city limits so there’s more than a few protestors open-carrying tonight. Seen some ARs, shotguns and a decent amount of pistols. #APDOCCUPATION

Still a sizeable crowd here in #Aurora surrounding the 1st precinct. They’re sort of in three groups; one in front, one each on the east and west exits. 20 or so Pizza Hut pizzas just went thru the crowd, smell of weed is in the air and the mood is pretty jovial. #APDOCCUPATION

I don’t think they plan on letting the police inside leave tonight. We’ll see.

Just overheard a dude say he’s waiting for a shroom delivery. Struck up a convo with him and he told me he’s micro-dosed for every protest he’s been to so far . He said it “heightens his mood.” Might have to give it a whirl one of these days.
