In the past hour or two the river has levelled off at a flow of *just* below 2,000m³/s and depth of just below 8m.

...for reference, on June 30th the flow was down at 635m³/s and the depth was 5.1m.
So over 3 days the volume tripled and the depth increased by nearly 3m.
...since 1911 only 19 years have crossed the 1,850m³/s mark.
(Depth records only go back to 1999 so they aren't as good a comparison).

...in recent years 2013 was all the way up at 2,847m³/s and 9.25m.
2011 hit 1,897m³/s and 7.88m.
And 2005 hit 2,612m³/s and 8.85m.
...and the biggest recorded flood were:
1915 at 4,460m³/s and 13.73m
1986 at 3,990m³/s and 12m
1952 at 3,540m³/s and 10.59m

...oops. Just looking back at the start of this thread, and for some reason I typed "just below 2,000mm³/s" but I meant 1,900m³/s. Right now the highest reading was 1,899m³/s at 7:30pm
