The start of the school year will be upon us before we all know it and the state has given no clear path forward for safe and healthy re-entry to in-person teaching and learning. We cannot put our students, educators, and all of their families in danger. #maedu #FundOurFuture 1/4

It is time for everyone to stand up, stand together and say that we will not allow our public school students and educators to be an experiment. Not one single life is expendable. We must have enough funding for class sizes that allow students to remain 6 feet apart. 2/4

We must have enough funding for appropriate PPE and sanitizing supplies. We must have enough funding for widespread testing and contact tracing. We must have HVAC systems that are clean and working. We must ensure that students and educators are not penalized for being sick. 3/4

If every single person cannot be kept safe we cannot re-open our buildings. 4/4
