+JMJ+ Welcome to tonight’s Live Twitter Rosary Thread where we will be praying for an end to the #Coronavirus crisis & for an end to the madness all around us, too.

St Thomas Aquinas, pray for us.

#CatholicTwitter #RosaryProject
The next tweet will be an antiphon, Scripture verse, something to help us prepare to pray. Then I’ll post some general intentions. Feel free to add your own. At the top of the hour I’ll begin posting the Rosary itself in this thread.
Prepare to pray: Put away the news of the day. Speak to the Lord from your heart. Listen w the ear of your heart too.

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior…

—Luke 1:46-47
(The Blessed Virgin Mary’s Magnificat)

#Vespers
We pray for an end to the madness, the violence, the hatred, the surrendering to the temptation to evil & sin that we see happening all around us in our world, even in our families. Christ calls us to imitate Him & He is Love, Mercy & Forgiveness.
We pray for protection & healing for all those affected by the Coronavirus. In this time of need may we draw closer to the Lord. May we unite our sufferings to His Redemptive Suffering. Even in our isolation & quarantine may we remain united to Him & so to each other.
Praying for all in the hardest hit areas, hit by the virus or by the hatred & violence of their fellow human beings. For those who have lost jobs, businesses, family members, friends, or hope.
Lord, we pray for all who have asked us for prayers. And for those we should pray for. For friends & family. And those who attack or troll us, they give us opportunities to practice the virtue of patience & forgiveness.
Help us when we are in danger of becoming overwhelmed, Lord, help us when we forget to trust in You. Help us, Lord, to have faith in You always in all things.
See you at the top of the hour. And thank you for being here and praying. God bless you!
Ready? Let’s begin.

In the Name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, you have deigned to come to Fatima to reveal to the three shepherd children the treasures of grace hidden…

(There’s a place in this prayer for your personal prayer intention.)
(For those who don’t believe, I pray…)

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ,
his only Son, our Lord…
(For the Holy Father, we pray)

Our Father Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us…
(3x for an increase of Faith, Hope, & Charity in our souls and in our world, we pray)

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women…
(Glory be, here and at the end of each decade.)

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.

St. Thomas, Apostle, pray for us! #FeastDay

+JMJ+
Yes, it's true, when I was preparing the thread, I actually thought it was the feast day of St Thomas Aquinas instead of St Thomas, Apostle. Oh, well. Also hit the 'a' key & got an 'a' at the end of Our in the first Mystery. Sigh.
