• first of all, of course, their bonding!

i don't know if liber did this on purpose or anything (probably did), but its shown many times that misumi clearly sees tenma as a little brother during the main story and some events. he teases tenma, with all his innocent way, but is
always eassuring him about many things. misumi is also pretty observant about tenma (even if y'all and the others think he's just about triangles, which is not true), and probably could tell if something's wrong without even trying too much. i don't even need to say much on this
matter, because the game itself speaks for me. their whole cash convo is based on these little interactions that normally occur between siblings (and its name's also confirm that)
and here. it just looks like misumi's the older kid trying to cheer his little brother up, while tenma the kid that's always turning him down because he's already "grown up" NSKDJS that's just cute.

misumi also loves. hugging tenma. he pretty much loves hugging everyone in general, but he has more energy doing it when it's with tenma, he's jumping in tenma all the time and that's incredibly cute too. i'll lend you this specific one just because. yes.
• their similarities!
even if this is not what it looks like at first, they have a lot of similarities, not exclusively in personality but they also share some kind of experiences on their lives (and i think that these similarities are directly connected).
[spoiler] they both
even if this is not what it looks like at first, they have a lot of similarities, not exclusively in personality but they also share some kind of experiences on their lives (and i think that these similarities are directly connected).
[spoiler] they both
come from abusive families. misumi's father is a shithead that made misumi feel unwanted, left aside, not belonged to anywhere, to the point he left his family. tenma's father is also a shithead, that ignored his own son's willing until he felt like they were not valid, lied
about them, and later had to (literally) fight for them. both had lonely and traumatic childhoods, which means that they understand each other's struggles and minds [end of spoiler]. also, now talking about their personality's similarities, is stated through the game that they
both have a way of seeing things that is not considered "normal" or "from this world". it's just like they live on their own little worlds, minding their own things and dealing with problems on their ways. this is not me speaking, this is summer troupe and izumi speaking.
[spoiler] i really think this is a trait that can come from their abusive childhood. is a common way to deal with trauma and they really have similar experiences in this case (sorry if this is too angsty i'm just pointing things out-) [end of spoiler].
they both also care deeply about their friends and appreciate them a lot, and are always trying to show it their own ways (like misumi through random triangles that are meaningful for him and tenma with his tsundere-ish praises and treats/gifts he mentioned he buys for natsugumi)
but they never expect people to worry and care about them the way they do, and even are kinda surprised when people do. here's an example from misumi's initial ssr. [spoiler] (for tenma i could simply bring the anime scene where he's SMILING when he says his father punched him
like it was NOTHING, but i'm gonna spare you from pain this time.) [end of spoiler]
also, there is the fact that misumi never actually got the chance to act like a big brother for madoka. dunno, just think this is a good add you know.

• their chemistry on stage!
i don't know if you noticed, but they have a very unique bonding on stage since from the beginning. [spoiler] on their very first rehearsals, they improvised a short but impressing scene that izumi praised a lot. AND IT WAS ABOUT SIBLINGS WITH FAMILY

ISSUES. this is definitely something that they both know well, and it came naturally. if you didn't remember that, now you do! [end of spoiler]
and here's another wholesome interaction of them being siblings and having chemistry on stage (sorry i rushed a little).

this one is pretty much just me trying to show you how perfectly they work and how everything can be extremely meaningful.
gemini is the zodiac sign represented by siblings (twins, just to
be more specific). in greek myth, these twins are castor and pollux, zeus' sons. i'll just make a summary: at some point, castor is hit during a fight and dies. he was the mortal twin, while pollux the immortal one, so he asks zeus to make castor immortal to, or make him mortal
because he couldn't live without his brother. zeus turns castor into an immortal, but this made pollux become a mortal and castor beg the same thing his brother asked before. they kept switching until the gemini constellation was created so they could finally be together again.
"what does this have to do with misumi and tenma?"
THINK ABOUT IT. what if castor and pollux fights and difficulties are misumi and tenma's troubled childhood, and the gemini constellation is mankai company, where they finally found some peace and a place they belong?

WELL THAT'S IT FOR NOW. i can add more to this later. please stan misuten siblings
they deserve so much to have someone they trust this much, can share their experiences and be understood ;;
