Here's the thing. We aren't "canceling" racists because we are attempting to get back at them.

Do you know how many jobs Black people didn't get because someone on the panel was racist?

How many Black people were passed up for promotion because someone on their 360 review was racist?

The micromanagement and microaggressions from leadership and peers?
Racism is not simply a difference of opinion. It is hatred. And if given even a small amount of power in the workplace, they will use it against those they hate to push them out or at best, keep them down.
To ask Black people to be patient with those who not only hate them but who actively try to oppress them (aka racists) is a huge ask - one that we are not willing to oblige.

We don't have time to educate proud racists in hopes that they stop sabotaging us. It's usually futile.
So, at the end of the day, one of these groups will be canceled:

* Racists who make life hell for the minorities at your company.

* Minorities who work twice as hard to even get into your company and stay there.

You decide which of these you'd like to have as coworkers.
