Reasoned have removed "one damning and distressing clip" of racism from what they had billed as a "bloody fantastic" interview but @darrengrimes_ hopes that he "will be much more alert about catching *this kind of thing* in future"

But why wait for the future to be alert?
If they are taking ludicrous overtly racist statements out of the nterview, surely @ReasonedUK & @darrengrimes_ should remove this statement that black British people would "die in seconds" if "dumped in Africa"

Is the "damn blacks" comment any worse? https://twitter.com/joshwoolcott/status/1279115179222093829?s=19

Calling Covid an "imaginary disease" seems like bizarre conspiratorial bullshit - but that comment that black British people "would die in seconds if dumped in black Africa" is very obviously racist bullshit in several different ways https://twitter.com/joshwoolcott/status/1279114944131235842?s=19
If Darren Grimes/Reasoned can't see how racist that is too, the project of hoping to be *much more alert* to catching *this kind of thing in future* is going to struggle without "learning the ropes" on how to spot the type straight up overt racism that you *so strongly reject*
BBC was wrong to report that Grimes has *said* he want to provide a safe space for racism & homophobia. He has *not* said so. He has talked about space for those accused of racism & homophobia (wrongly, he thinks)

But his site *is* hosting overt racism (because he can't spot it)
That quote is "you would die in seconds if you were dumped *back* in black Africa'" makes it even worse.

As this *back* follows the statement that "you are not culturally black Africans", that seems to make it a highly incoherent statement https://twitter.com/Seunspeakss/status/1278628351998033921?s=19
Obviously a gross racist dehumanising stereotype of "black Africa" to say western black people would "die in seconds" there.

"if you were dumped back in black Africa" is also a gross and pretty racist comment towards the black British

Will @darrengrimes_ spot this too now?
