My thought in I-LAND: EPISODE 2
(Which no one asked but I'm still making a thread)

—First of all, the RELATIONSHIP. Y'all noticed in I-Land EP. 1 fancams and behind-the-scenes that they've established peaceful relationship with each other despite their differences...
...they had their fun, they talked alot, and we're happy with our picks' interaction with the others when we see one. However, when the top 12 were already decided, and they're being prepared for the first test, suddenly, all became competitive.
I know they only wanted to stay in I-Land and debut, but if they continue this kind of attitude and always tend to forget considering teamwork in their unit, nothing will change. They will not improve, or may not debut.
—Second, POLITICS AND MANIPULATION. You see, I-Landers decide for everything. They have the power to eliminate someone through their votes, they can pick their parts in certain tests. Everything is decided by means of voting. One of the disadvantages of voting is...
...the I-Landers would use every chance they get to appeal. We can see Seon at the start of the episode, suddenly interacting with the other trainees because of the fear that they'll vote him out if they haven't knew him yet.
Believe me when I say that having that power to vote has its downsides. Trainees could exert manipulation towards other members and that is not good. Just like what happened to Ni-Ki and Heeseung.
Heeseung is a BigHit trainee so he knows what he's doing and he leads the group well, however because of complaints from other members, he got pressured, as to why Ni-Ki got the center part due to the subtle manipulation happening when they discuss things in private...
...with other trainees instead of talking it out. Ni-Ki should've approached Heeseung when he has a problem and not tell evert trainees about it. If they're having conflicts with someone, the best way is to resolve it and not turn in into some kind of politics.
What I'm scared of is how the applicants vote. They have personal criterias established within themselves, and it made me scared that they won't consider potentials when it comes to voting. If only the producers could do the elimination in I-Land like how they pick...
...substitutions from the Ground.

—Next is TEAMWORK. Y'all know Bang PD wants teamwork as to why we can see BTS and TXT balancing each other everytime, which results to better teamwork, communication and synchronization. They accept each other's differences so they know how...
...to ground themselves when they become too much. I know the trainees have only been interacting for a week or two in the second episode, but how come the GROUND trainees have BETTER teamwork and communication than those in I-Land?
It's because the Ground trainees learned how to accept their differences and they are all empathetic towards each other. They know they can achieve their goal if they worked together. They're nit discouraged just because they're in the ground, and that's what I call "GROUNDING"
You find differences towards yourself and you learn to accept that differences but you have one goal together, so you work for it. I know that it's only the second episode, I know there will be lots of improvements that will happen, but I just need to point these out.
—Another thing I've noticed is the PRODUCERS. It's normal to be harsh and strict in the first test for them to grow and improve, but they must consider other things outside their potential and skills, Rain did a good job at pointing out that Ni-Ki has its disadvantages of...
...being a center. They had the opportunity to change the part with Heeseung, but Ni-Ki became "selfish" at some point, and they also pointed out that the test is near so they can't risk doing it all over again. Rain has his own way of training these kids and it just shows that..
...he's doing better than expected (in my opinion)

—LACK OF BETTER COMMUNICATION: I-Landers must know how to address something to one another without being pressured about it. Conflict would only lead to another conflicts if they're all stubborn and impatient.
What I can suggest is that they should talk more during breaks, they should have THAT courage to know their teammates well so they can handle misunderstandings and forthcoming conflicts. They should communicate more and not just mingle with certain people everyday.
—ATTENTION SPAN: Attention span is reduced when you're scared, pressured, humiliated, and not confident. You tend to space out alot and be anxious about it. Jay wanted to try certain parts but he was not voted until 7th-8th tries. You can see him being ashamed and losing focus...
...when Heeseung is talking about the parts. Also, Jaebom(?) cried in the Ground because he practiced hard, but he forgot the lyrics. That's what pressure do to us. We lose focus and our attention span is shortened.
—I-LANDERS SHOULD'VE DONE GREAT IF THEY TOOK "TEAMWORK" INTO ACCOUNT: Heeseung is a great leader (again) if he's not pressured. Hanbin is a great leader in ground too. He helped other ground trainees who can't get the choreography well due to lack of resources (one tablet)
If we compare these two, they're both good leaders, but how the members approach them is the opposite. The I-Landers approached Heeseung lowkey "blaming him" for pressuring and judging them. The Ground members, on the other hand, approached Hanbin peacefully.
You see, other members can also affect their leader when it comes to leadership. And I-Landers forget that, as to why their teamwork is not that good. Heeseung sacrificed his time for the members, Hanbin too. But the Ground thanked Hanbin for his hard work while Heeseung gets...
...prejudiced.
The members took his part away instead of changing Ni-Ki as their leader without actually changing parts. Heeseung only had himself at that time because the others are being hard to him and wanted Ni-Ki to center, while Sunghoon's the only one who showed concern towards his hyung
—IT'S ONLY THE SECOND EPISODE‼️‼️

Yes, that's right. There are room for improvements, therr are room for character development, basically what I'm trying to say is that, we viewers shouldn't be so hard on the trainees.
I know how upset some of us are, thus, some throw hate in social media instead of having a healthy discussion by presenting opinions. Fans are being too immersed in the show, they tend to forget that their "opinions" are subjective and not objective.
Don't spread hate, y'all. Learn how to be observant, don't send hate just because you can. Observe every trainees (even if you need to watch the episodes countless of times to observe them individually)
Your observations would be your contribution in your opinions and constructive criticisms.

And please, for those who haven't watched it yet, DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU SEE HERE IN STAN TWT. Some are just spreading hate and misinformation.
