Whenever I bring up Elzhi, I always get people asking what projects/songs to listen to so here's a thread on the goat of Detroit. A bunch of songs, projects and features you guys should check out if you want to get into Elzhi's music.

The Preface and Elmatic are the two best projects to start with. Elmatic is him rapping over modernised Illmatic beats from a band. Both are classic quality imo so you can't go wrong. Both projects would be in my top 10 Detroit easy.

Whilst the Preface isn't on streaming, songs from their are. So you guys should check out these three projects that are all elite. Europass is probably the easiest to get into but their is Dilla production on Witness My Growth, so you can't go wrong with either of these three.

Lead Poison and Jericho Jackson and would be my next recommendations. These are rougher albums but they are both great. Lead Poison in particular really grew on me after multiple listens.
