1st paragraph seem pretty unambiguous: US officials seized hair weaves suspected to be made from human hair harvested from Chinese internment camps. Then I started to look for their source of allegation, that’s when things get messy...

Then we are told this is 2nd time this yr hair weaves frm China seized on suspicion of being made w forced labor. No further mention of claims abt harvest hair frm #Uyghur prisoners...

Also apparently the order is to hold goods until CBP can investigate claims of wrongdoing...

AP found Hetian Shaolin Hair factory to be surrounded by high security which if you pay attention to reporting frm Xinjiang is actually the norm in the region. AP even admit it’s unclear whether the factory is linked with re-education camp

Finally @AP reported Chinese gov statement that camps had all closed Bu claim it’s difficult to verify claims with some #Uyghur and Kazakhs exiles say their relatives released while others say no. Still no further mention of any claims of hair harvested from Uyghur detainees

In summary, @AP article full of unverified allegations that got strung together to serve up the sensational headline that China is harvesting #Uyghur prisoners’ hair for export to US. All this just happened to serve US agenda of waging Cold War 2.0 on China.
