okay can i just say one thing? i don’t LOVE biden, i wish we had another option. but looking at the bigger picture, we just need to get trump out. that’s the top priority (1/??)

now i don’t think we should simply ignore the problems with biden for the sole reason that he is a democrat. however, i do think that the most helpful thing to do for the upcoming election is to have as much agreement on the democratic side as possible (2/??)

whether we love it or not, he was the chosen nominee for the democratic party. there are people on the fence between biden and trump. speaking negatively on biden will turn those people towards trump and away from biden (3/5)

we saw a similar thing happen in the 2016 election, when sanders spoke very negatively on clinton, which then pushed people who were on the verge towards trump and away from clinton. again, i don’t love biden. i would love to get someone younger and more progressive (4/5)

but this is what our options are. keeping trump in office is DANGEROUS for this country. whether we like it our not, biden IS the only other option for this election. anyways, thank you for coming to my TED talk and please don’t think i’m a republican for this thread i am NOT
