Christians believe justice is trying really hard to be "nicer"

Justice is the reorganization of resources to accommodate the marginalized

The problem of inequity is not that white folks are not trying very hard to be nice...

Violence is built into disparity

Violence is denying a person a livable wage... Then denying a mortgage... Then displacing them through gentrification

Violence is school buildings being 40 years old... Put charter schools being 10

Violence is black women being 3 times more likely to die in child birth

These are not functions of being "nicer" these are realities of resource deprivation

I don't need you to sing "lift every voice"... Before the football games...I need you to be invested in lifting ever voice

I don't need the streets to be renamed to "black lives matter" Ave... I need Breonna Taylor's killers to be arrested

I don't need you to rename the "master" bedroom I need black folks to be about to afford the house

I don't need juneteenth off.. I need y'all to hire some black people

Don't be nice to me... Do right by me
