#TTRPGchopshop

Why isn't there more about the consequences of death in games. Why isn't there more space in books and ttrpg works that is dedicated to the effect of losing a person. Grief. Celebrating life. Remembrance. Legacy.
I feel that it is such a missed opportunity! There should be moves, mechanics and guidelines to give players the opportunity to work with in my humble opinion. Especially for the players whos charachter has died. They should be able to steer the impact at the end.
I have myself been thinking about this as i write RaD, where death is an option that is mostly on the player select for a few situations. Where the player can choose to push beyond what is safe in game for their character in a duel. For that dramatic life and death fight.
I ended up writing a small segment about it in the core book I am working on. And that small segment grew. And grew.
