Here is a thread of classic bags you should buy as your first designer purchase. These bags are an investment, this means that you can resell for more or same price eventually.

Let’s start with Dior. Always good. The Lady bag is named after Princess Diana actually, The Saddle was released and popular in the early 2000’s but last year they brought it back. The Diorama and Book Tote are good too.

Chanel is a no brainer. They just increased prices by 25% so if you own one already, you’re eating!!!! The flap bag and boy bag are always a good choice.

The Neverfull and Speedy are sometimes out of stock cause they’re SUPER popular!

YSL is underrated but go for the Sac de jour, sunset or college

Gucci doesn’t really have classics but they’re trying lol. Check out the Dionysus, Marmont and Disco. I think they will go down as classics even tho they’re new

People don’t talk about Fendi much cause tbh I like their shoes/clothes more than the bags but they bought back the Baugette last year and the Peek A Boo is a classic as well.
