- they are both very good at fighting and standing their own ground
- they’ve gone away from their families for different reasons

- they were both taught to be sweet ladies and eventually grew into being ladies who can be strong and willful
- they are feminine and powerful in their places in society

- they are all intelligent characters who have a witty and humorous side
- iroh and tyrion both serve as the “wise sage” kind of character (or at least tyrion does up until s5)

- they both got redemption arcs that allowed them to join the “good side” by the end of their story
- they both have a soft side
- s8 jaime doesn’t exist

- relatively one dimensional characters who were the biggest threat to society throughout their time on their respective shows
- wanted to convert the entire world into their own people

- they believe in justice: seen especially in daenerys’s s3/s4 arc and in the painted lady episode for katara

- jon seemed destined to defeat the night king as aang was destined to defeat ozai

wanted to say that this thread is more like a “what could’ve been” for certain got characters, like if jaime got his proper redemption arc and if dany didn’t go mad; many of the characters are comparable anyways like dany and azula for example
