Let's start with the latest mv : religious appropriation. Ganesha is a god worshipped by hindus. This right here is extremely disrespectful and very wrongful. The deity shouldn't be kept on the floor with someone else sitting on a throne above it with shoes on much less in an mv.

Jennie wearing a matha patti as an aesthetic and a part of her costume when it clearly has cultural significance and she is not indian. Again very disrespectful. Idk how many times I have to say this but my culture is not an aesthetic.

This is from d4 : Jennie wearing a bindi. A bindi is not meant to be used as an aesthetic when it's not your culture. It's cultural and signifies warding off evil, opening of the third eye, or a symbol of a married woman.

This is during ktl: Jennie wearing a maang tikka for aesthetics. Again this is culturally very important to us and when we wear any of these outside of our home country we are ridiculed mocked and made fun of.

Video: bp mockingly dancing to a song that has been used several times to mock indians with hand gestures stereotyping us. This is highly offensive and disgusting tbh. Stereotyping us with head bobbing just for a meme is really offensive.

Tunak tunak is an iconic bhangra song and it was reduced to a meme here which isn't what it's for at all. Using cliches and stereotypes to represent something is just not it.

Video:Jennie and rose mocking bharatnatiyam mudras and dance moves. People dedicate years to this craft and to see a highly revered artform reduced to this is demeaning. Despite being indian and learning this form of dance I would never mock it like this.

We're only asking for an apology and a 'we won't do it again next time'. It's not much given whats been happening.
