I see a big video game thing has been canceled due to allegations of whatever. I totally understand kids being into this stuff, but if you're an adult, you should probably find fulfilling interests and pursuits that aren't exactly the same as what you were obsessed with at age 13

This also applies to adults who spend every waking moment obsessing about their Fantasy Sports roster. Leisure is fine, and good! We all need leisure. But they create an entire identity around it and have no other interests, or avenues to attain meaning in their lives

I'm also fully aware that stuff like "eSports" and Fantasy Football are extremely lucrative industries. Nothing new for profit-making industries to thrive on atomization and decadence!
