I have been other’d by women like Kimberly my entire life. Bothered me until I started telling folks to kiss my BLACK azz. Somehow that did the trick.

Colorism is real, sisters. NO DOUBT. But racism is also real.

And what’s sad is that Kimberly probably doesn’t even care about how much this hurts people like me or all of us because she is clearly hurt herself!

And since you brought it up, sis, it’s time for some of you to acknowledge that you absolutely did reject KH for the WW with no receipts because of your belief about her advantages.

And call me crazy but I believe someone somewhere was counting on that.

I really wish we could overcome the mental oppression that still plagues us. Bc diminishing each other rn ain’t it. I can acknowledge my privilege within our community if you can acknowledge how I may be treated by BP as a result.

This is as real as it gets. For me anyway.

These last few months have been hell on earth for all of us. This can’t be the way. It never was the way. And until we have this discussion we might not fully see the way.
