I just got so creeped out...by #birds...that I had to go back inside the house and call my husband lol

I sit out on this deck almost every day, and I have never seen so many different kinds of birds out here at once.

It's not that birds creep me out, generally speaking. I like birds.

It's that they are making this big racket...over God knows what...and then they all started looking at me and getting closer.

Like, they were coming toward me from every angle...and it was creepy!

Normally there are sparrows and finches, mourning doves, starlings, robins, and the occasional grackle.

Today I have also seen a woodpecker, purple finches, pigeons, a mockingbird, a goldfinch (!), and a wren.

I can also hear a lot of cheeping, but I have no idea what I'm hearing and don't see any nests.

Anyway, I thing birds are nice. I just don't want to be surround by them and ganged up on.

My husband said if this were truly a sign of the end, I should take comfort that the birds are coming TOWARD me, because that means the danger is elsewhere.

Also, that they don't see me as a threat.

(But what if I see them as threatening? Oy!)

So, I'm back on the deck now and hoping that all will be well. Pray for me!

p.s. is it weird for a UU to pray to St. Francis for tips?

p.p.s. I know crows are super intelligent and have been known to vocalize like parrots, but I have never heard one make as many different sounds as this one. Creepy! Or cool. Whichever.
