Small thread to those wanting to leave "X" community that that they're part of. Here's the thing & I hate to break this to you. No matter what community you take part in gaming, cooking, furries, movies etc, there's always going to be a shitty person even ones you look up too.1/5

Good set of examples: 1-Recent events that unfolded from #EVO president of EVO Mr. Wizard Joey Cuellar exposed for sexual harassment & pedophilia allegations. 2- What happened with a well known fursona in the fur community @/nasfk_ getting exposed being abusive towards trans. 2/5

Here's the take away, THEY ARE SINGLES & NOT A REPRESENTATION of a group, community, convention, game dev, animator etc... whatever. When they're called out, they are being removed and disassociated entirely from the things we love because THEY DO NOT REPRESENT IT. 3/5

Key point here is to NEVER let 1 shitty person (be it may a reputable one or not) to ruin the things that you love and be part of. 5/5
