I paid for a laptop on the website of @HPIndia on 25th of June. The product reached #Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh on 27th. From there it was despatched to #Berhampur Odisha on the same day. #Berhampur is only 200 kms from my place- #Rayagada Ideally, the laptop should have been
delivered on the 29th. But it was not to be. I took delivery of the laptop bag but not the laptop. The products were to be delivered by @delhivery . However, I am still waiting. I went through the #WhatsApp of @delhivery and found that the laptop was somehow in #Purnea
Why does #Delhivery use this path to deliver the product? I made a call to @HPIndia and the usual #bs followed. They have my mobile number but keep on asking for it. Today, I was asked to share my trouble over a #DirectMessage on #Twitter. Corporates don't like their reputation
to be tarnished before the whole wide world.Of course, they don't have any concern for the hapless customer. Then much to my chagrin, I was asked whether I made the purchase online through the @HPIndia website !. This is the reason why corporates insist on #DMs !
I am disappointed by the attitude and working of @HPIndia I could not get the laptop on time. Then there is the bigger question of getting the laptop in the right condition. My past experience shows that when the product is not delivered on time and takes unnecessary detours,
the item is not in the right condition. Now, the chances of getting any relief from @HPIndia seems very remote, given the experience of the past few days when the buck was passed on to me ! For someone like me with modest means, a laptop is once in a lifetime purchase.
