So I was speaking to someone in Nigeria yesterday and asked why he goes around freely without wearing a mask. He said “I am covered by the blood bro”. I was shocked. So I asked why he doesn’t drink sniper like he drinks zobo? See guys, there’s a difference btw faith and stupidity
I am a Christian and a believer in the power of the blood. However, I’ll not drive for a minute without a seatbelt. Not that I am expecting an accident but because 1. It is the wise thing to do 2. And yes, accidents do happen.
I believe that my safety is ultimately in God’s hands but I will not disobey the law of gravity by jumping off a cliff. Even Jesus refused to do it when the devil came up with that destiny-aborting proposal.
“Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God” was his response. I am not here to argue for or against science, but I know it is foolishness to kick against the brick. The scripture says, obey those in authority. Even if you believe that you’re immortal, disobeying Government guidelines
is counted as a sin against God. I live in a city with no major COVID cases in almost one month, but this is how most people move around. It is not out of fear, but out of wisdom. Even if your immune system is strong, consider those with weak immune system around you...
and do the right thing, for their sake. What I’m seeing in Nigeria is disturbing. There is a high correlation between the current spike and the total disregard for guidelines, even by those who made the guidelines. If many of you didn’t live in Nigeria, you’d obey and wear a mask
Why is it that when it comes to your own country, you do as you like? I was triggered by the use of “the blood of Jesus”, as a defense for foolishness. So those of us that follow the guidelines don’t have access to the blood? Be wise, folks. Safety first!!!
Ultimately, I believe that my protection and safety come from God. There’s however a part that He wants me to play in that protection, it is to be responsible! Consider the elderly, and let’s be responsible.

God keep us all.
