I'm still trying to find the words to put just how stunned I am that we managed to raise TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS for @RAINN.

I'm not too proud to admit that I cried tears of joy when I got off stream last night. The Destiny community is absolutely amazing.

During this process, we also learned a lot.

This isn't a men vs. women fight, but an abusers vs survivors fight.

We have to be better. We CANNOT just "not be a part of the problem", we need to be part of the solution. We need to change ourselves, and our friends, to not only not harass the people in our lives, but to call out each other when we see another person making someone

uncomfortable. We also need to be ready to help both our brothers and sisters when they come forward with their own stories of abuse and rape. End this culture of victim blaming.

Survivors, until we reach a point where this type of harassment and abuse isn't as prevalent as it

is, please, do whatever you need to do to protect yourselves. I don't have the words to express just how sorry I am that so many of you have to put up with so much of this abuse. Please know, that when you are ready to speak, we have an amazing community ready to back you up.
