This is what happens when you present everything as a debate to be had or decisions to be mulled over by external actors.

Literally just do your job and ban all LGBT conversion therapy. Framing this in a way where you can say "well people said to leave it" is moral cowardice.

All that being said, PLEASE do actually respond to it. It is a crying shame that we have to even do this, yes, but the onus is unfortunately on us to prove the damage so-called conversion therapies do to our community members. Speak up, act up, let your dissent be known.
