Escrow makes it less likely you& #39;ll appeal your assessment. (2) it& #39;s not (only) misassessment. Statutory property tax limits in most jrx result in lower tax rates for rapidly appreciating homes --> gentrifying areas have lower rates. NYC has radical disparities. 2/
