(Long thread, sorry. But if you read through, please RT so we can see if this is something obseved by many).
Am I the only one seeing this?

I don't know if I am a "victim" of The Algorithm hitting me up with very cool theological articles from Asia, or if there is a huge spiritual awakening going on over there.
I have read about 60 theological papers in the last year, but more than 20 come from Korea, India and the Philippines. Several are about a "Theology of the body", and the intersection of disability studies / activism / human rights.
All of the papers I've read - and this is a field where I work daily, in practice, and also make most my own theological work - have blown me away. Given me new thoughts. Challenged me. Changed me. Made me view the Church and myself differently. Made me grow.
Am I alone in observing this? In that case - move along, because it is, in that case, most probably the Algorithm finding me the right content.
But if we are, in fact, many in the Body of Christ, all observing this, this is a huge spiritual awakening. A new dawn, a sunrise, of fresh and life giving, spirit filled, well thought out theology, that can bless the whole Church.
