So it& #39;s kinda part of the lore of my twitter account and so many people follow me every year. For the 3rd year I have a check-in visit at the hospital. 3 years ago I had a spine surgery because I had a very severe double scoliosis. I& #39;ll tell you everything in this thread
So I had this surgery when I was 17. The surgery was mandatory because the scoliosis was growing was too fast. It& #39;s the kind of disease we can not explain and most likely I will never know what happened to me
I spent 10 days at the hospital during July. The surgeon did a great job but I had to learn how to walk again and not rely on my back too much. To make it simple my vertebrae are sticked together so recreate, I can& #39;t bend my back and it changes my daily life incredibly
So the surgery is pretty common but mine in particular was really severe. Even today the way I walk is not very natural and I lost flexibility. I can do sports again tho, most of them, but I have to be careful. I can& #39;t do combat sports and carry too heavy things (40/50kg+)
So it& #39;s been 3 years now and every year I have to do an x-ray scan and a check-in visit at the hospital to see if my body is in a good shape. i& #39;m seeing my surgeon every year and it truly makes me happy because he& #39;s an incredible human
The man is just so kind, attentive to his patients, he understands my feelings so well. He& #39;s also hardworking and super smart because well... He& #39;s a surgeon. As a proof, every appointment lasts twice as long as expected and since he does that with everyone, we are always so late
So now I& #39;m waiting in the waiting room, the room is different now because of covid and thank god because I finally have a decent 4G here. Every year this thread is hell to type because I just can& #39;t connect to twitter
So I had the X-ray scan already and I& #39;m really speedrunning that shit because I had so much scans in my life. I might die in 20 years because of that haha Kappa lol
The appointment is supposed to be in 11min but you know the man...
