Want to talk about #Reservation ? Let me Narrate a personal experience.
I had this Senior. He's a post intern now . I tied him rakhi every year. Cooked food for him. Never cared about his caste. Loved him like a real brother. He was the first person I reached out for any advice

One day, I posted this picture on my whatsapp status.
A screenshot of a tweet. I don't remember who posted it. I had cropped the name right then

He didn't reply the same day.
On the next morning ,
I received these texts where he claims that General category is the one which is occupying most of the seats and infact it's the general category which has reservation
Crazy !? VERY !!!

Since I considered him a brother since the past 3 years, I tried to solve the issue and tried to explain my points. He was just not ready to consider. He took offence for no reason at all when I was trying to be my politest self

I tried my best not to say anything offensive but he kept provoking.
He falsely claimed to score higher than general category students in college .
(FYI , he didn't clear a single exam without appearing for supplementary.)
But I heard all of his points without objecting

He then started abusing my bf, my friends and everyone & tried to prove himself better than everybody else. It was pure arrogance ! I tried my best to calm him down only to save our relationship of brother and sister.

He then said that he needs reservation bcuz he doesn't have enough resources to crack Pg.
I asked him if he has Marrow , Dams , all standard books , MCQ books and everything that one needs to crack PG, how is he deprived in any way !

He refused to accept anything.
My father too came from a very poor background. Borrowed books from other students to study.. cracked UPSC on his own after MANY attempts .
If my dad didn't deserve reservation in spite of such poverty , why does a privileged man deserve !?

On repeating this same question again, he abused me.. I won't post those screenshots here bcuz They are pure filth..
But I'll post this last message where he calls my father a "bhikari" and then blocked me

This is what I received after giving him all my love for all these years..
One post on WhatsApp which didn't even mention any particular caste, it was for any reservation in general , triggered him to an extent where he abused his "sister" and her father

Only because he had no answer to her questions..
This is how Arrogant reservation makes people .. they consider reservation as their birth Right irrespective of their financial status..
