The fact that some of u are still clueless as to how SM plays with EXO is so frustrating. The reason why many of us were encouraging y’all to preorder SeChan’s album ASAP is bcoz SM heavily relies on 1st week preorder numbers to determine how much stock they will produce +

With the obsession album, we not only were missing 3 popular members but we didn’t have any links or album details in the first 2 weeks of preorder so those who relied on amazon & other cheaper international websites got screwed big time and had to wait until links were posted +

This can be proven by:
1. The amount of EXOLs that were refunded bcoz there wasn’t enough stock
2. The amount of times SM had to restock
3. How long it took them to restock
4. The low ranking obsession got on BB200.

We were literally speculating that it would get top 5 +

But as always, SM found a way to screw us over by releasing the album not only late in the year but a day before tracking ended so we couldn’t get the result we wanted. With ALL of that plus the releases that did better in sales and streams than obsession, +

It was still ranked as the best Kpop song released in 2019 and is ranked in the top 5 best Kpop albums released in 2019 (ranked number 4) by Billboard. SM worked hard, we worked harder.
