It saddens me how most baby universe don't even know yanan or just forget about him, so here's a short thread introducing our angel yanan:

First of all he stopped his activities with Pentagon due to his health issues and he's been absent from Pentagon's group activities and promotions ever since humph era. The last comeback he had with was Sha La La and he did record tracks and everything. He's still a part of PTG.

A while ago he resumed his activities with a new Chinese drama, the shooting is gonna take three months so until then he's still staying in china.

-Yanan is the only Chinese member, he's from Shanghai, and also has known as Shanghai prince.

-He's a visual and sub-vocal

-he was trained as a rapper but ended up being a vocalist cause:

-He was born on October 25th 1996

-his Korean name is Kim Yanan cause according to him his favorite Korean food Kimchee

-He's a part of the giants line (Wooseok, Yanan, Yuto, Shinwon) and he's the second tallest in the group.

-he's 80% legs

-He's a fake maknea liner since everyone is babying him and we love to see it.

-He's a model btw.

-Although he's a baby and literal angel he can be a true savage .

-FYI he's a good friend with Seventeen's Jun, and they both participated in a Chinese competition(?) show called The Collaboration

That's it for this thread pls give yanan the love and appreciation he deserves. a lot of new unis forget about him or barely know him cause they weren't there before he went on hiatus in 2018 or when he temporarily stopped his activities with Pentagon in 2019.

Oh and one last thing, despite Yanan being in China he keeps supporting Pentagon on his personal account on weibo and he even visited them and went back to China during RTK and kept supporting them along the way. He keeps in touch with them. They mean a lot to him .

Pentagon is and will always be Yanan's no.1 and I hope once he's done with his drama filming he can come back safely, rest, then resumes his activities with Pentagon as one team once again.
