Today& #39;s thread is a little different

I& #39;ve talked about how you can reduce distractions

To get more time in your day

But something we haven& #39;t talked about is that...

You have time and energy for SO MUCH in the day

To crush your goals

How do you manage that?

First and foremost

We humans operate on something

Called a "circadian rhythm"

We respond best to light and get tired around darkness

It& #39;s literally NATURAL
With this in mind

Getting up early, preferably just as the sun is about to rise

Is the best way to get things done for many reasons

- You& #39;re up before anyone else, minimizing distractions
- You can naturally wake up with the sunlight
- You have THE MOST TIME in your day
I could talk about the discipline that comes from this

But that& #39;s something you can and will find out for yourself

Next up is something you probably didn& #39;t think about...
How many people do you talk to daily?

Are they people who are helping you toward your goals?

They don& #39;t need to be DIRECTLY contributing to them

I& #39;m talking about being SUPPORTIVE

Even something as simple as spending time with you

Being supportive

Goes a long way
Whether you& #39;re extroverted or introverted

Being social takes energy to commit to

Even if you& #39;re absentmindedly nodding along

You can& #39;t control everything, but...

You sure can choose what you associate with
When you realize that everything you do is a choice

With trade-offs that you hold yourself accountable for

It becomes much easier to understand

Who you actually like/want to hang out with

Vs. who you just "exist" around

Find people that you both ENABLE

and who enable you
I could talk about working out and its numerous benefits

But that& #39;s a thread for itself

The best thing you can do

is avoid foods that make you tired

Carbohydrates like pasta and rice

Are notorious for this

Have them in moderation

(I sure do, they& #39;re great)
One final thing

Sticking to a proper sleep cycle is crucial

If you& #39;ve gone through an active day

It& #39;ll be easier to fall asleep than if you hadn& #39;t

And you can begin the cycle anew tomorrow
Going back to circadian rhythms for a minute

Your body will NATURALLY be tired at around a specific point each night

Learn to figure out when that is, and try to sleep around then

If you need to, set an alarm to get up at the same time every day

Eventually it& #39;ll be natural.
Can you obviously skip a day or two?

Sure.

Everyone has a life and social events

But managing that is its own form of discipline.

It& #39;s okay to say no once in a while,

Because if you always say yes to others,

You are saying no to you.
Please consider retweeting the first post to help others...

- Learn about circadian rhythms
- manage their social energy correctly
- Learn about carbohydrates inducing sleepiness

Hope y& #39;all have a good one,

See ya with another thread tomorrow!
