why jackson wang is much more than just “the funny and cheerful guy in got7” — a thread

he gave up on his fencing career to become an idol after he was ranked 11th in the world in 2010 and won first place at the asian championships in 2011

he was a succesful fencer but he wanted to become an idol and in order to pursue his dreams, he quit fencing and rejected scholarship offer from stanford university

he always emphasizes on got7 is not just work but its his family, he has 7 brothers

“it’s 7 or never, 7 or nothing. if it’s not 7 people, then it’s not got7. til the end it will be got7.”

he is also very protective towards his fans, let’s remember this day when a random person pushed one of his fans and he directly told him that “you shouldn’t push a girl, from now on don’t push a girl again”

when fans visited him in a very hot and sunny day, he provided them cold water bottles

team wang started only with 2 employees and he managed to do everything by himself. now he has come this far in 3 years
