but diff depts have very different groups to deal with - much more complicated stakeholder bases .. and need to be ready to deal with crises.. govt wants to do other comms (not just press..) so not clear one size fits all

but can be reined back..... (but do check what those teams do...) but 4 DGs sitting in the CO barking orders is perhaps one of the worst ideas I have heard ever... what on earth are they supposed to do..

hardly a sign that this isn't about "centralisation...." they can't be acorss the detail... so just adding another layer of people falling over each other... another sign this is a campaign not a government.
